Do you have a document you need to get notarized? SLA’s current articling student is able to perform notary duties.
A Notary Public witnesses the signing of important documents and verifies the identity of the signer(s). A Notary also confirms that the signer is signing the document willingly. A Notary can also:
Administer oaths or take affidavits, affirmations or declarations
Attest the oaths, affidavits, affirmations or declarations
Certify and attest a true copy of a document
To make an appointment to get a document notarized, please called the SLA Offices at (403) 220-6637 or contact us through our contact page.
Please note, a notary is not required to notarize your document if he or she is not confident that you are the person in question.
Student Legal Assistance operates year round. However, please note that Caseworkers are unavailable and cannot make Court appearances on their client’s behalf during winter and spring examination periods.
